Musical Portraits

Musical Portraits is an exhibition of original paintings and photographs that have inspired musical pieces and artworks. These include a collaboration between Shaun and local photographer Jamie Randall. Jamie’s images capture the ‘unusual in the usual’ and he actively seeks a different perspective, whether portraying people, events or landscapes. New works will be created during the exhibition including two pieces based on the wonderful work of Gary Cook whose paintings reflect environmental concerns and include “hidden” scripts. The exhibition also marks the start of a project with residents of Guys marsh Prison.
Shaun Bracey has been recognised internationally for his orchestral writing and commissioned by leading soloists. His portfolio extends to solos, orchestral and choral works, musicals and production music for television. He also writes private commissions.
The exhibition will feature Shaun’s original manuscripts, Jamie Randall’s photographs, paintings by Gary Cook and artwork by residents of Guys Marsh prison.
Live concerts every day at 12.30pm. Prints, cards, CDs and original artwork for sale.
